Buddhist monks being detained by Nepal Police at Tinchuli Chowk Friday. To mark the start of the Olympic Games in Beijing, Tibetan refugees in Nepal had planed a protest in front of the Chinese Consulate in Kathmandu. But they were barred from going, as police had put up check points on most major roads in the capital, stopping anyone of Tibetan looks. I was embedded with this group who tried to sneak by, but all hundred were intercepted and arrested. More photos filed under Tibetan Protests.
